Memorial song
A memorial song for someone you miss
Some people deserve more than a minute of silence. If you are missing a mother, a father or a friend, tell me about them, gently and in your own time, and I'll write a memorial song that keeps their memory close.
“My grandmother Ruth passed away in March. She grew roses she never let anyone cut, called everyone 'darling' and kept every birthday card we sent. Quiet piano, for her memorial service.”
- Ruth, your roses still won't let us near,
- every card we sent you, you kept them here,
- you called the whole world 'darling' like a prayer,
- and darling, we still feel you everywhere.
The story and lyrics on this page are an illustration written for it; the audio is one of Rahije's own songs.
A song as a way to remember
Grief often leaves us without words, exactly when we most want to say something true. A memorial song gathers the small things that made someone who they were: the roses, the phrases, the laugh you can still hear. It can be played at a funeral or a memorial service, on the anniversary of their passing, or simply kept for the evenings when you need them near.
I take these requests slowly and carefully. You can ask for a calm, mostly instrumental version with only a few sung lines, or a full song in the language they spoke: Arabic, French, English or Spanish. If you are writing about a mother who passed away, include the words she used to say: hearing them sung can feel like hearing her again.
When and how to use it
For a funeral or service
Funerals are often arranged within days. If the service is soon, choose express delivery and mention the date in your story; I'll keep the arrangement simple and the length around three minutes so it fits a ceremony.
For an anniversary
A year on, or ten, a song can mark the day when family gathers or when you visit their grave. There is no rush for this: take the time to collect memories from relatives and write the story together.
As a private keepsake
Some songs are not for an audience. Your gift page stays private and the files are yours to keep, so the song can simply live on your phone, for the drives, the quiet evenings and the days that are harder than others.

Questions
Before you order.
Can you write a song for my mother who passed away?
Yes. Tell me about her the way you would tell a friend: what she loved, what she said, what you miss. Your memorial song can be in her language and as quiet as you need; I'll treat every detail with care.
Can it be mostly instrumental?
Yes. Ask for a calm, instrumental-led version in your story, with piano or strings and just a few sung lines, such as their name and one sentence. It suits ceremonies where a full song, or too many words, would feel like too much.
Can the whole family take part?
Yes. Brothers, sisters, children and grandchildren can each add a memory; put them together in the story field and say which names should appear. A song that holds several voices can become the family's way of remembering together, every year.
Is it made with AI?
Yes, and I say so openly. Your words become the lyrics. I produce the music with AI tools, generate several versions and keep only the one that sounds right. The songs on my TikTok are made the same way.
When will I get it?
Within 72 hours of payment, or 24 hours with express delivery. You get an email with a link to your private gift page.
